We are looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to partner with founder-led businesses across the UK. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership on a flexible, part-time basis — helping clients strengthen their finances, prepare for investment and plan for sustainable growth. What you’ll do
- Build robust financial models, forecasts and cash-flow plans that founders can rely on.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, margins, budgeting and capital allocation.
- Support fundraising rounds, from preparing the numbers to defending them with investors.
- Advise on exit readiness, due diligence and long-term value creation.
- Act as a trusted sounding board to founders and senior leadership teams.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior finance experience.
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or Fractional CFO, ideally with SMEs or start-ups.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate numbers into clear decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in helping founders succeed.
- The flexibility and self-motivation to thrive in a fractional, client-facing role.

- Provide strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of client businesses simultaneously.
- Build robust financial models, forecasts and cash-flow plans tailored to each client.
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, margins, budgeting and capital allocation across multiple businesses.
- Support fundraising rounds across your portfolio of clients, from preparing the numbers to defending them with investors.
- Act as a trusted sounding board to founders and senior leadership teams across your client portfolio.
What we’re looking for
